Skuggabjargaskógur: Electric mountain bike tour 2 wheels

Drive to the quarry at Víkurskarð and cycle north to Draflastöðir. Continue through Melaskógur and Skuggabjargaskógur, around Dalsmýnni and along Fnjóská to the bridge. Then cycle a short distance on the main road to the starting point and head home.

Those who have a bike transport bracket use it, others can have their bikes transported on a bike trailer.

Distance: 40–45 km. The elevation gain is manageable on this route.

It is assumed that the bike ride will take three hours, but the trip will be four hours with stops and a lunch break, then the car ride is added.

Price: 6,200 / 7,700 ISK. Included: Tour guide and transportation of bicycles on a bicycle trailer for those in need.
